Identity and retail concept
Scotland's leading family-owned home
furnisher, Maitland's, commissioned
Adcock Clayton to create both a new
brand identity and a retail interior
concept for their relocated Aberdeen
store at Bridge of Don.
A subtle, neutral colour palette was
selected for the interior together with
simple room dividers and high impact
lighting, thereby allowing the product
and merchandise to be the focal
aspect of the store. The space created
provides a modern and flexible
backdrop to the furniture displays.
Environmental considerations were
made throughout the design including
the installation of energy efficient
services and insulation provision to the
shell, over and above normal
standards.
